Calm Water

Most days the ocean around here is rough, it is dangerous to get too close to it.
On rare occasions it is calm. This morning I ran down there with my camera to snaps pics of the treasures in the tide pools.

In the warmer months, the water in these tide pools becomes clouded with algae, now that it is cold again, the water is clear but there is still a diverse range of life.



Usually I try to keep the dog out of the water I'm shooting but the light was just too perfect here.
